Hell yeah. Mp3 tags! It would be awesome if we also could embed ISRCs in wavs and mp3s.

They have added ISRC support. I just did a test, and it's working.
I don't think it's possible for mp3's.

This ISRC (means source) has nothing to do with ISRC codes. I just paid @X-Raym for a script that actually does this.
Also, WOW, finally meta data embedding! Being able to define things like Artist and Album for each project (including new wildcards) would make it even better.

That's correct. The next build will support embedding ISRC codes in MP3s, but as far as I can tell there's no universal standard for embedding ISRC codes in wav files, it's just a confusing coincidence that one of the standard wav INFO tags is named "ISRC". What does X-Raym's script do?

Oopps, my bad. I didn't know about the two different ISRC.

Actually there is a (sort of) standard for that that involves putting a piece of code into the aXML chunk of the WAV/BWF-file. I guess @X-Raym himself can explain more about the script.

ID3 injection seems to work nicely so far
@mlprod
All I know from ISRC come from you :P
@schwa
My Script inject BWF/List-Info and aXML (only for the ISRC support in this case).
It doesn't insert ISRC number in LIST-INFO as, as mlprof told me, this field isn't use for ISRC number (just for generic other infos).
Though, the ISRC in aXML chunk has the following format:
Code:
<ebucore:ebuCoreMain xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/" xmlns:ebucore="urn:ebu:metadata-schema:ebuCore_2012"><ebucore:coreMetadata><ebucore:identifier typeLabel="GUID" typeDefinition="Globally Unique Identifier" formatLabel="ISRC" formatDefinition="International Standard Recording Code" formatLink="http://www.ebu.ch/metadata/cs/ebu_IdentifierTypeCodeCS.xml#3.7"><dc:identifier>ISRC:$token</dc:identifier></ebucore:identifier></ebucore:coreMetadata></ebucore:ebuCoreMain>
where $token is the ISRC value (mlprod use a generator to get them).

Great, thanks!
Would it be possible to support a separator in the directory field for a different path for the secondary format?
I know it's probably coming, but having more common tags would be nice too.
"Album Artist" is a really useful one since most players treat "artist" as "contributing artists" which can be a mess since tracks with more than one artist are shown under a different "artist" entry and breaks up albums.
i.e. An album of 10 tracks with collaborators might be shown as 10 different artists entries and albums of 1 song each, album artist keeps the full release together as desired.

Please let us add images (cover art usually) to the file.

This is a great idea. Enter it once, then all future renders get their files tagged. Would be brilliant!

I second this! A little tab in the project settings would suit the need (and for sure it should auto-fill the tags when rendering).

Yes, possibly. Maybe it should auto-tag as long as no other tag has been manually set?

And it should definitely support variables/wildcards ($item, $project, etc.).
I really feel for the devs... =}
