Default Cover of Bad Guy Performed by Peter Whitaker - Comments Welcome

My son has been recording/producing Pete Whitaker for a few years now. Recently Peter got a last minute gig and was unable to pull together a full band before the date. He talked Shea (my son) into performing with him, playing kick drums and tambourine with his feet while simultaneously playing guitar/bass, depending on the song. Peter liked the sound so much that he later asked Shea to record the arrangement that they came up with for Bilie Eilish's "Bad Guy". Here it is, performed live with no overdubs.

The violinist is Nataly Merezhuk, (formerly of Russia now of Baltimore Maryland) and I think that she is pretty amazing. You may notice that the bass part that Shea is playing is actually performed using a Stratocaster with octave pedal. All that he is doing is dead simple, but he also did the recording, mixing and mastering so he was still rather busy.

What do you think?

Hey T!

Gave it a view.

Beautifully recorded and I can see the extensive work in the video edit.
The performance was spot on and it was obvious they were all enjoying themselves.

Very fresh and a nice relaxing vibe.

Full marks!

Regards,

DAvid(SR)

Hi Sambo,

Like all of the artists I know, Peter and Shea are trying every thing they can think of to bring a bit of enjoyment to anyone who will listen. Its a shame that it is so hard to do. So, it is always great to hear that there is something worthwhile in a recording. It is especially nice to hear from you. Both you and Jorgen have been commenting on this forum for a looong time, and I have come to value your opinions.
