Default PLAY crashing new build of Reaper

6.0.4 has been rather troublesome to me. First M-Tron Pro crashed it. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it, and that took care of the problem. However, PLAY (East-West) is now doing the same. I've uninstalled and reinstalled it, but it's still crashing Reaper. None of this has happened with previous builds. I tried dialing back to a previous build, but whatever damage was done didn't correct itself. Thoughts or suggestions?

One of the reasons I quit using Play. Cynical old me, but I struggled with it for literally a couple of years. When it worked it was great, but it seemed like evertime there was an update it became a crashfest. Maybe they are reverting to type?

Worth looking around other DAW forums to see if anyone else has the same problems.

Thanks very much. Indeed, it turned out to be a corrupt file in Play.

Take care.

It`s a shame that after all these years their bug squashing/detecting chops are still apparently lacking. Glad you/they found it!
