Default Why/how did my Reaper change to version 5.XX ??

How did this happen ?

How do I go back ?

Reaper installs/updates are not done automatically or happening in the background. So you probably installed Reaper 5.xx at some time

Back to which version, exactly? If you're looking for Reaper 4.x:

- Old Reaper versions can be downloaded from here: https://www.reaper.fm/download-old.php?ver=4x

- But I'd recommend to check if you have both versions (Reaper 4 and 5) installed side-by-side, first. Because if you're opening .RPP files directly from macOS Finder or Windows File Explorer, it might be the case that the .RPP file association is set to Reaper 5 by default.

I did not install version 5.xx but I remember listening to some Reaper samples whare I wondered why the "Reaper-face" looked like it did ... I found out later it was version 5.xx - but never allowed it to REPLACE my version 4.76.

But I'll look for "dual" install and just re-install version 4.xx
