For me it's still hard to use it.

it's like entering a container inside a container inside a container in order to see what is inside... this is not effective at all for me. a GUI must be implemented to use it properly.

Concur. It's a definite plus, but it desperately needs a way to see the connections.

Hopefully, with certain limitations being removed regarding effects routings, we can soon get viewing options from various scripts like the following to also work with Container FX.

1) A new nodal view, like ReaSpaghetti (but for FX)?
2) Visual containers with macros (Bitwig and Ableton style), like..

BryanChi's FX Device - Macro & Env Modulation, Parallel FX, Preset Morph, FX Wrapper Etc.

and LBX Stripper

I don't think that the container paradigm, currently seen in the pre-release versions will change in any way until same is pushed to the released version.

The stuff mentioned might be considered on top of that afterwards ... using some different feature naming.

Wouldn't it be great to just have the option of displaying multiple FX horizontally in the same FX-chain window?

That's very ableton-esque I guess, but would be a good life improvement…

There already is a very clever script that allows for graphically deal with the new (v7.x) "parallel" and "Container" features in the FX chain.
