Default Looking for the right midi connection device(s)

I'm a greenhorn when it comes to Midi, but I'm in a lucky place. I've got a ton of external midi instruments, including keyboards, semi-modulars, midi controller keys, bass and drum machines. Most are contemporary, but a few are vintage. Many are Behringer. But I also have Moogs, Korgs, Sequentials, Yamahas M-Audio, Akai & Arturia.

I'd like to integrate them in such a way that I can drive them from one instrument or chain them to run off several instruments. I realize the second need may require a different kind of device. What kind of 5-pin Midi connecting device(s) do I need?

Midi Thru/splitter? Midi Interface (in/out)? Midi Hub? Midi Merge? Or something else?

Well, you might have a look at

https://www.iconnectivity.com/mioxl

It should satisfy your demands. Furthermore it has NetworkMIDI / RTP-MIDI.
