Hello witti and welcome to these forums. You'll find many helpful people here and a lot of useful information.

Good first post
I've been hoping that lampshade would continue with his work. But yours is looking good - loads of layouts to choose from.
I would suggest that you include a toolbar_blank.png (just a copy of toolbar_custom_00a.png) so that symbols that we have created can be incorporated easily.
... and you've fixed two of the issues I asked about in my Multichannels thread.

Very cool witti, and I appreciate you sharing. I was using the beta of Apollo and was having no problems with it, but your version just seems to be more complete.
The one thing I miss from the beta, is the font that was used in text toolbar items. What I mean by this is the font that is displayed when a toolbar icon doesn't have an image, only text. Could somebody please point me in the direction of how to change the font for this? Thanks a bunch.
I had a little fun tweaking around in the theme menu which caused me to discover I was missing a font. After re-reading your initial post I realized that I overlooked installing the font that came with the theme, and now that I have everything looks great. Thanks!!!
Well this is confusing. Were you offended by something in the thread? I just don't see anything offensive. Maybe it's a language thing? There are people here from all over the world, from many cultures, some of whom English is a second language. Give it another try.
Back OT... I'm downloading the theme right now and will share what I think of it. Thanks for your work.
maybe we've got being offensive down to such a fine art that when one of us write "my mistake, sorry", they read "you are a failure and always will be"
Dark Star I don't know how you did it, maybe you're the chosen one.
The theme is great by the way, very easy on the eyes.
I know i shouldn't do that... but here are some last words:
It has nothing to do with DarkStar at all. Just read the whole fucking "check out this theme" thread... The internet is silly. Posting in forums is silly.
I just wanted to give you my version of Apollo 4, what i did. Updates will be still available on stash from time to time.
So a big to DarkStar,FarBeyondMetal,Just Mine and all the others ... and especially to vStyler.
Am i the only person who understands him?
Less talk, more rock!
So you're leaving a forum because KennyG and vStyler got into a heated argument in another thread? I don't want to burst your bubble, but I've yet to see a forum that's never had a flame fest. This one has the least of any. Normally it's an extremely helpful, peaceable community. Even that little spat was nothing compared to some of the flame wars I've seen in other audio forums. The internet is filled with people from all over the world, there are bound to be misunderstandings and values conflicts from time to time. I'm surprised you've decided to leave based on someone else's conflict.
I'd strongly encourage you to give it another try.

Congratulations! That is the FIRST dark theme I have used on my new 23"IPS panel monitor that doesn't look like shit and is actually legible in 1900x1080
On my old 19" TFT I loved albert's themes but they come up way too dark on the new monitor.
Tried tweaking and had assumed it was monitor or the gfx, but now I have seen this theme I know it is color and contrast choices.
I tried it, too.
First, the unzipped zip is a zip. (zipception?) Unzip that one, you'll get the inside of the reapertheme.
I renamed the last zip it into .reaperthemezip, but there is an error, and no theme show up, just the ugly reaper 2 theme, which comes along, when the selected theme has an error.
Unzip all. Until you find the ReaperThemeZip-file. There is no need to rename anything.
Or just open it with 7-Zip until you find the ReaperThemeZip-file and then drag and drop it into your theme folder.
I did, and found no themezip. I'll give it a new try later.
I really like this theme, I will probably use this one from now on...
but I was wondering if is complicate to allow the height of the mcp to be stretchable like in the original Apollo, when I mix I like longer faders
The empty space before the track is a wonderfull feature, I now don't need anymore to create a new track as a separator and hide it on the track list (I know is not complicate but like this is even better)....the empty space could be a little smaller in my opinion.
thanks for the great job.
please let me know if those mods can be done.
P
ok, to change the "empty" width was easy with your explanation...
changing the first value after mcp.margin is not enough thought, also the first value after mcp.size must be reduced to the same amount
is anybody so good to exlane me how to make the mcp stretchable?
by the way I do understand your point witti I just find almost perfect for my needs, so I try to make these small changes
mmm.... I believe the stretch thing is a little bit too complicate for me.....
maybe I will try to focus on making just a longer fader and meter layout to add to the existing ones
the thing is, I prefer to see only the mixer when I'm mixing so I saved different screensets depending on what I'm doing......
when I mix basically the mixer get stretched to the top and I usually stretch the fader to be bigger, I leave space for 4/5 fx, 2/3 sends and usually one line for eventual fx parameter, the rest is only fader, this way I have better control with the mouse.
I believe it will be even better on laptops.
you will probably ask me how do I move back and forth on the song if I don't see the tracks, well, I use regions so I can jump from one or another by clicking on the region list menu.
