Can't afford the time to test properly but let me just ping you that when using:
reaper5981+dev0809_x64

SWS has problems detecting a track when the mouse is over TCP area.

This is the code SWS uses to deduct track pointer from track HWND:

This build seem to render the MCP FX font a few pixels too far up (ie the font is pushed upwards, leaving an empty space of a few pixels underneath each FX title). No matter what theme.

While there are changes being made to the ruler, what about this:

Align large bar numbers to time signature changes.

Is Walter trackselected a part of dev version? It seem buggy, not updating correct.

For example this post from V6 theme alpha thread is connected to case I am writing about.

In short: the way tracks are displayed and processed in TCP and MCP has been heavily optimized so that we can have larger track counts with less CPU usage, but this broke how you did your mouse context calculations. Justin fixed some of that and there's a SWS build on LoL with those fixes (and there's also some new APIs to access track data in TCP/MCP, etc.).

Pls check my video here with audio turned up. I explain exactly what is going on.

edit: and that was 9 days ago - it seems reaper_next stands for a new branch on SWS GitHub
