Default Track Notes (SWS/S&M) being deleted?

Anyone experienced track notes (SWS/S&M) being deleted? I mean, I made some notes on some tracks to make sure my reamp settings for each DI track were consistent through all the songs in a project and they seem to be gone, all of them... Feeling a bit lost, I don't want to start over again!

Thanks everyone!

There was an old bug causing track notes and marker/region subtitles to be randomly deleted when switching project tabs. It was fixed in SWS v2.12.1.

https://www.sws-extension.org/download/pre-release/

(SWS is not part of REAPER, so SWS bug reports belong at https://github.com/reaper-oss/sws/issues.)

Thanks man, I aprreciate it. Right now I´m a bit desperate, seems like I´m gonna have to reamp almost every damn track again.

Some guy in a reaper user group in facebook said he´d had trouble with global notes every now and then, and said he used to do a backup of a .txt file that soterd that info in the root folder, but I can´t find that thing.

Track notes are stored inside of the project file (.RPP). You might have a chance to restore the lost notes from an earlier backup (.RPP-bak).

Global notes had a separate data corruption issue when the notes contained slashes (fixed in 2.12.0). SWS_Global notes.txt is stored in the resource directory. To open it: Options > Show REAPER resource path in explorer/finder.

Thanks again very much! I tried that and was finally able to recover most of the notes!

When I'm done with this project I'll update SWS, thanks again!

I've run into some recent issues with track notes getting deleted.

These will be notes that I have set before a previoius save point, then I'll make a bunch of changes, undo all of those changes and sometimes the track notes (from the previous save point) will be deleted in the process.

I haven't pinpointed the exact steps. I've only been able to repro it with a script a wrote that sets undo points. Perhaps that is what is causing it. I'm going to troubleshoot some more.
