Play cursor Behaivior
I would like the play cursor to stop and stay when I hit the space or stop button on the transport. As it is now when i hit stop it snaps back to to the static cursor. Is there a setting to change that?
Thanks
Lee

Doesn't the 'Enter' key do that?

Yes - Options > Preferences > Audio > Playback > Scroll view to edit cursor on stop. Have it unticked.

hit SPACEBAR, or Play & Stop on the transport = restart play from cursor
hit ENTER, or Play & Pause on the transport = restart play from the point you paused at (the cursor moves up to the point you paused, to make it the new start point)

doesnt work for me - I want to hit space to stop recording and it snaps back to beginning of take instead of staying at the end of just recorded clip.

Well I also would need a way to a have the cursor stay in the same position when I hit stop, to be able create a new file each time, and then continue from that same position, so the pause function doesn't work for me. Any other solutions ?
Thanks

Select Options > Preferences > Editing Behaviour, then in the "Edit cursor behaviour" section select "Move edit cursor to end of recorded items on record stop".
Cheers,
Malcolm.

You could swap enter for spacebar in keyboard shortcuts, that'll give you half of it.
