I can't manage to put it in the dock... ctrl-click / right click does nothing.
running OSX mojave, reaper 6.12 and variator 0.3.3

I think it's OSX mojave thing.

Try this:

Open REAPER resources folder and open reaper-extstate.ini

In there find section
[LKC_VARIATOR]

and in that section find:

dock_id=0.0

try setting it to 1, save the file and restart REAPER and run Variator again.

Amazing script, trying out right now!
May I suggest for the pro version to add some kind of "Shuffle" parameter which randomly swaps the position of items? Would be very useful for things like rearranging a spliced drumbeat.

there are some action scripts that do exactly this.

I know, Xenakios/SWS: Shuffle order of selected items does this. As there are several scripts that randomize volume, pan etc.. but the great advantage of the LKC Variator in my opinion is that it conveniently merges all these randomization possibilities into 1 very usable GUI. So I believe the shuffling functionality would fit into this script very well.

Is there any way to fine-control over the length-parameter? Even at the smallest setting (1/100) it's pushing my items too far away from each other.

I think that maybe you need to change the value of position parameter rather than changing the length.

Can you give me more details if I'm wrong?

aww this script is awesome thank you..

i only find one bug if i make a time selection the script is get the items close to the selection, everytime i click mutate, and random settings do nothing..
then i clear time selection and everything is go back to normal again...

I can confirm that the script stopped running at v7.

I have the latest pack installed from ReaPack and the error message I'm getting is "C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\REAPER\Scripts\ LKC-Variator\GameAudio\Data\x64\variator_gui.dll: bad binary format (version mismatch)".

There is already a new version 0.3.7 which deals with this problem.
If you use this version and still have this issue please let me know.

I just realized that you are talking about Content Navigator. This thread is for Variator so I didn't check the details of the error message.

Install Content Navigator v1.07beta manually from ReaPack to run it on REAPER 7.
