Automate all params from an effect

Make an easy way to automate ALL parameters from one effect. For example, suppose I have reaEQ and numerous points set. Now I want to write to all the parameters of the effect. I know I could click on each one individually in the envelopes window, but it seems a bit tedious to have to go through and click on every single check box individually.

The easiest way I can think of to do this: - when clicking on the envelopes button on a track, a window opens with volume, pan mute etc, and then below this each fx and all of its parameters

Add check buttons at the level of the fx name - visible and arm, then clicking on these can toggle the state of all params for that fx.

Does not make sense as a plugin can have thousand parameters. E.g. qẃith ReaEQ you can activate many filters if you like.

You could set a soft limit in preferences, for example 64, and if the effect has more params than that, show an error/ warning dialog and let the user increase the limit if they want to. Edge cases like that shouldn't prevent the more common, useful cases where you have a reasonable number of params.

That isn't really a valid reason for not implementing this.

it doesn't make sense to open envelopes for all parameters. You don't even have to show the envelope lane before writing envelopes. Using the envelopes window is the slowest way to approach it

You can have the ones you use automatically come up when touched in any automation mode.
