Wanting to record more channels than the recording file format supports (
FLAC in this case) yields the error message:
"Can't write to recording files, does the directory exist?"
I know the reason is that FLAC supports 8 channels at max, but for those who don't know there should be a more useful error description.
However, there are 2 flac files created, both with size 0.
If recording to
mp3 (who does?), recording just works, but the resulting file is only in stereo. Perhaps there should be a warning that not all channels will be recorded.
