Default Issue with Reaper 5.9 64bit recording/rendering Arturia Sparkle

I have an Arturia sparkle, normally I can render either the output from it's in built patterns, of output triggered by MIDI notes, however, since moving to 5.9 the only way I can render the output from the Sparkle is to either drag the audio out of Sparkle, or render the audio to the track and mute the VST.

This definitely worked before as I have used it many times before.

Thanks

Yes, simply program a loop or use a preset loop using Arturia Sparkle (you don't need the hardware), you can add a another instrument if you like to satisfy yourself rendering is working correctly.

Press play in the daw and observer the drum sound is audible and the meters working correctly, and your other instrument also.

render the selection and only the other instrument is rendered, the Sparkle is not. If you had 20 tracks and one was Sparkle the only one not rendered would be Sparkle.

If I get time I'll record a video.

Still not working in 5.93 BTW

Default SparkLE

I am not able to get SparkLE to record MIDI. I can hear it, I can see the meters react, but no notes are recorded.

Track automation is set to 'W'.

SparkLE is correctly set up in Preferences (set to 'disabled' as per Arturia's instructions).

I am currently plugged into the USB on my Audiofuse, but I was also plugged in directly to a USB port and it still didn't work.

Reaper just isn't receiving the MIDI info.

For what it's worth, Reaper also doesn't see it as a controller, but I don't know if that's normal or not.

Thanks!
