Default After Effects and Reaper intergration

Anyone able to get After Effects and Reaper to work in tandem? I'd like to send data from Reaper to After Effects to control After Effects' parameters. This is more of an After Effects thing but it would be great if something like this that already exists.

Not sure about the details as I know very little about After Effects, but a quick google indicates that it can respond on MIDI for controlling stuff. So I'd look at something like LoopBe (an internal MIDI bus) and set up your controller tracks in Reaper, using LoopBe as your MIDI output on the I/O of the controller tracks, and setting After Effects to respond with LoopBe as the MIDI input.

better than nothing but it might be pretty weak. Seems that the resolution for midi is a problem and unless there is an easy way to trans form them in to continuous data then it might be a problem... Would be nice if one could just sent automation data to it directly but that would require syncing and all that I imagine... maybe not.

You could experiment with changing the midi resolution/PPQ to see if it allows for finer control. Would rely on After Effects being able to read that correctly, but worth a go.
