Default Volume Envelope Behavior Has Changed

I updated to the latest version recently and I now noticed that my volume envelope behavior has changed.
If I open a volume envelope, change its value, and close the envelope; the value will get deleted from the envelope and added to the volume fader's current value.
How can I change this back?
My settings were set where the volume envelope will never change my fader value.

Thanks!

Regular Trim/Read, not recording any actual automation, all point made with mouse.

sorry, can't help. I have to say i generally don't close volume envelopes as i like to see what's going on - i've just tried it on v5.79 and when you close the envelope the current value is reflected in the fader as you describe - this seems logical to me but i don't know if there are options for this or if it has changed. Maybe use the trim volume envelope if you don't want the value reflected in the fader?

It seems to me now that it only happens when there's only one point on the envelope (the initial one), so I guess it's not that big of a problem.
Thanks!
