Looks like a very nice real console.
I see a slight problem with the brightness of the mute and solo buttons. It is a little difficult to see which are lit at a glance, be in the track or mix area.
Now I'll go off and look at them in Reaper. The faders don't look bad at all.

That sweet man. Nice 3d look.
How did you pull off those fader borders without them stretching? I tried that and after pulling the TCP dow too far they just went to hell.
Very nice. Two thumbs up!

yes, it's pretty on the eyes..... but a bit agressive on the brain
Maybe a look like this http://www.funkyjunkfrance.com/WUWunderbar.html
would be easier to work with :?

These advanced themes are superb! Many thanks WT! I think we can call this one the Classy Console theme.

Heh . . . it's doin' me 'ead in seeing the red at the bottom of the meters and the green at the top!
I like a number of things about these themes, but it took me a minute to figure out what was bothering me about them. That's an easy enough thing to fix, though.
Some steps in a very nifty direction, methinks.

I love it! Thanks!
The only problem I have (Im using the Black Corn theme) is that its hard to tell how the polarity/phase buttons are set. They almost look identical when engaged and not engaged.

Hey, thanks for pointing that out. It was starting to bother me too! So thankfully, WT provided a couple of alternative icon folders inside the orignal theme folder. I found exactly what I needed and swapped out the meter icons with something a little more to my liking.
Cheers,
Billy Buck

Looks very close to the SSL J console theme that I begged for 3 plus times.
The red faders look a lot like the monitor section of SSL or Neve Consoles actually. Please again go take a look at how the SSL is configured.
Those nice square buttons would look great in reaper. SOLO & MUTE.
Aw man I can almost see it happening. I swear if I could do it I would.
1st Best theme.
Great

Agreed 100%. Great theme with the only flaw so far being the phase button. It should light up when it's engaged.

Fukkin' awesome!!! I'm really beginning to dig the 3d effect when I initially thought it was overkill. Makes it much easier to work using a big display from a distance away!
Great work!!

Amazing amazing is the only word!
Great job once again WT! I love this one. Just a simple question is it possible to have the Knobs etc.. a bit smaller? Or can i do that myself and fix them? Also how do i make the Wave track colour to be more clearer then the one right now wich is a bit darker?
This is promising!! )
Edit: Ok guyz i got it how to change the colours etc.. but i don't know how to change the size of the Knobs. Thanx

Ya know . . . that's a GREAT point!!! I could definitely see myself using this theme (or one very similar to it) when I'm simultaneously engineering and playing drums, so I don't have to squint to see what's going on.
Not so many pro DAWs have flexible options like this! Very, very cool!

Haven't downloaded it yet, but despite having posted about wanting a more flat, conservative theme (eg "Box", thanks!) - heck, this is really pretty amazing! Nice work!!

Snap! That looks real! The only gripe I have is that the angle of the mute/solo buttons when disengaged looks like we are looking down at them versus the other buttons which give a perspective of more straight on. It gives that medieval art mixed perspective feel to it.

Yep, that was actually one of the first things I noticed.

I didn't initially make that connection, but it does indeed.

Its funny but the more Advanced Themes I see and try the more I think that Aldi Noble's White theme is the best and should be a standard even workflow-wise.. Just an opinion.

Thanks guys, its all much appreciated, and I'm always eager for constructive criticism. The perspective mis-match I walked into with my eyes open, I'd checked with a few peeps and we all agreed that the mute/solo buttons were great fun with maximum travel. And we all need some fun once in a while Sorry if it makes your eyes hurt... this whole theme was a collosal technical challenge and sometimes that meant that design took a back seat.
The more glaring perspective mismatch on the TCP fader is simply a matter of idleness, but since no-one's raised a flag about it I'll not worry! (Don't mix on the left, people. Its evil.)
Smaller faders are no problem, but if I'm going to open the file I might as well throw out some colour variations, anyone got a preference?

Amazing stuff, WT!
To think where skinning was just a few short months ago, and now this.
It seems that REAPER really can look absolutely any way you want it to now, with no limits.
Thanks to Justin for freeing this up and congratulations to WT and all the other skinners in the community
for what they've managed to do with it.
Yet another huge feather in REAPER's cap!

Yeah man - swap out mcp_bg.png and tcp_bg.png with the ones in the 'old' folder for the old backs ...or do you want them in the new colours but without the new texture?

I love this theme except for the vu meter colors. any way to make them a more tradtional green-yellow-red (clip)? when I chage the colors in the theme preference it has no effect.

One huge complaint
First of all on my Core2 Duo whatever extra resources this is taking seems negligible and therefore I could see using some of these themes.
My complaint though is that for us , which have not the best eyes there are spots such as on the regions that there is no strong contrast between the background color and the label to the point that I have to struggle to read the region's label. There are other similar spots.
In general I wish theme designers would provide variations on their themes so that labels would be in contrast to their backgrounds.
Better still Reaper should allow us control of label colors and possibly fonts.

Update 1.2
I'm stepping it on because there's lots of new things: New faders, perspective pan controls, chrome buttons and fader tracks that work on any background - worthwhile since they now appear in the ReaPlugs:

Here's it asleep:
