Old School Recording

Can anybody tell me if there is an plug in for reaper I may be able to use for recording external midi,base on not just program changes but LSB,MSB,and bank changes,one that I can use with only one instance as though like when were dealing with a software multi-vsti or dxi routing things.I tried out the ES_patch_and_control plug but had to use it on every track I recording with my hardware keyboard.I would like a suggestion,and even a thought on programming stuff,like the option that was in cubase sx 3 where you set up your banks and then you the midi information is saved as a xml file.
