Default You can download....

Lame_enc.dll from a number of places. Here's one:

http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dl...shtml?lame_enc

Download the file, unzip it, and place it in your "reaper" directory under "program files". You should then be set.

The HA recommended version is 3.97, available from Rarewares:

Lame is now incorporated in Reaper - you can render an MP3 file easily.

Right, but the version in Reaper isn't the latest.

The dlls available on that site are no longer usable with Reaper. Cockos themselves will need to update the Lame encoder bundled with Reaper. (edit : And if they haven't done the update, it's because there's nothing relevant for Reaper use in the new encoder update.)
