midi: velocity ONLY on mouse modifier

Hi, on individual midi notes there's a line that shows the level of that note's velocity. Clicking and dragging on this allows you to adjust the velocity with only left click.

Is there a way to remove this? I find when working quickly I will sometimes grab the velocity instead of moving the note. I would prefer this to only happen with a modifier if possible.

Any help is appreciated!

Your MIDI Editor Actions list includes options to show velocity on notes as a number rather than a line, or not at all.

This might help you.

View->Piano roll notes->Show velocity handles on notes.
Mouse modifier: MIDI note -> left drag, choose modifier and set Edit note velocity as action.
