Stash download
Hi all,
In trying to download midi note names [from stash] for EZdrummer, I'm only able to get the pdf list, which can't be uploaded into Reaper's drum editor.
I'd appreciate any help.
Cheers.

Link to the actual note name file?
At any rate, if the text in that file reads something like this;
Quote:
// MIDI note name map for Metal Machine for EZDrummer, according to the manual pdf
65 HH Seq Hits
64 HH closed edge
...
|
just copy the whole text and save it as the notename text file.

Hi, expander,
Thanks for the help.
So at the moment in the drum editor I'm able to select :-
File > note/CC names > Load note/CC names from file > Choose file.
The question is, from where is that type of file downloaded, on the internet,
that enables a list of the appropriate EZ drumkit notes to appear where the
piano keys used to be?
Cheers.

I'm not quite sure I understand your question there. You download the notename files from wherever you find them on the internet. Stash, like you mentioned earlier, is one good place. You could then save them anywhere in your computer, as long as you know where they are. Mine are in Reaper resources in the MIDINoteNames folder. But when you are loading the note name files, you can browse anywhere on your computer.

xpander,
Thanks for responding, and may I apologise,
The truth is,I should have read up on how to download a text file from the internet in the first place. I hadn't a clue. However, now less confused, I've managed to download a couple of midi drum maps.
Thanks again for your advice.
Cheers.
