Default Change track lanes background

Hi all,

I wish to change the track lanes background to a much clearer hue, but changing the "Track background" colors in the theme tweaker has not so much effect as you can see in the attached screenshot.
I presume that a .png image from the theme is stretched above (or below) the lanes but I can not figure out which one it is.

Can someone help?

Thanks!

Adriano

Very weird; I've never seen that before. You are doing the right thing. Just to be sure, try a really bright colour like full red?

Here it is.

The track background for even tracks should be pure green (0, 255, 0) but is not :-D

I guess that the track lane foreground is a stretched .png, am I right?

Wow, that's completely bizarre. The only ideas that are springing to mind are vanishingly unlikely, but here goes...

Might there be some color management / ambient light adaptation setting that you've got set, that Reaper is applying inconsistently?

Is this in an area selection and you've set a really weird blending mode on that?

...er...

um

sorry?

The blend "policy" (of the media items) did not change much the behavior (everything there remained dark) so to avoid going crazy I have restarted from the default 5 theme plus a custom color "palette" and some rtconfig.txt hacking (only for the VU level labels), now the settings are working reasonably.

Worth to add that I have installed 984 making reaper create a new colorthemes dir, and that I have restarted just copying the color tweaking "theme" I was working on

Sorry if I made you lose some time, thanks anyway White Tie

Now I can ho back to making music :-)
