Default change windows look ?

Not exactly reaper related. But how do you change the look of the windows in reaper? you know like when you add vst, it just looks like windows 95 to me. And now that I have a solid theme I want it all to look great.
Any help here is appreciated

REAPER's window's look and feel can be themed on Linux. On macOS and Windows it mostly follows the system theme.

One thing that helps a bit is using a 3rd party dark theme. I use Penumbra on Windows 10, it's better then the Microsoft dark theme and gives the Reaper menus a darker, slicker look. Not much you can do beyond that, but I like it.

This Win 10 theme looks great and doesn't need any setup:

I'm using it with iLogic v3 and REAPER looks amazing now.

Unfortunately these high contrast themes break some plugins in Reaper. When trying to save a preset in either Omnisphere or Serum Reaper crashes.
