What on earth test software are you using? I have used a fair few & never seen results presented like that.

It would appear on the surface that something has caused your GUI drivers & software to go bonkers, though.

Quick and dirty would be to re-download them & reinstall them.

Good on you man
Thanks Ivan
Yes I will go through the info and CD's
I got when I purchased the computer
It is going a bit flaky
I had to cut some results from the sheet to get it onto the thread
Those AMD dll's I have tracked the info down but they need a microsoft program to read the pdf.
I will send that pdf to my wife to open
Thanks for touching base Ivan.
Best

Looks to me like you just need to update your GPU drivers, but Idk what test you're running or why; it just points to GPU files.

You can also try system file checker (on Windows) to verify system file integrity: windows key+R, sfc /scannow

Finally, update your motherboard drivers from the manufacturer. Or you can use DriverBooster to do it for you, but results may not be optimal (always create a restore point first).

I don't consider installing manufacturer drivers to be risky, but assume no responsibility for problems incurred taking reasonable advice.

You know how to create restore points? You can just type it into the search bar. It'll save your ass if something goes wrong.

But why did you run that thing anyway? It doesn't appear to be a tool for identifying errors of any kind. Do you actually have a graphics card in your computer? Or is your monitor plugged directly into the motherboard port? I guess you have an nVidia card and that software is just saying it didn't find an AMD card.

I have been a bit shattered by strokes FoxAsteria.. a person gets a bit flaky
I see yes, Vin thinks the same
Oh I thought the test was a good one I looked around to see if I could find one just thought I would try it.
Trying to put a round hole where only a square one exist I guess.

Thought it would tell me something.

Sorry to hear that grinder. Well if you're not comfortable poking around in bios and installing drivers etc, I don't think it should cost too much to have some IT professional come by and get the system all up to date.

Going well thanks FoxAsteria health for all of us over 65 is a blessing no big deal many more worse than I!

Vin my computer Guru
suggested shifting one of my cards to the first PCIe x 8 then after that I placed my Duo in the last PCIe X 8 it went for a while in concert with the Octo but hit the fan after 10 minutes.
I then shifted the Duo to the 2nd PCIe x 8 and shifted my firewire card to the last PCIe x8.
Has been humming along quite nicely for an hour I just hope the firewire can cope in it's position.

Well I hope I can be so positive at that age. But yea, my gram used to love reading until a stroke obliterated her ability to...very sad. If I lost the ability to make music Idk what I would do. Keep on, keepin on, good sir!

I had some success FoxAsteria with the UAD cards.
It seems that the script sfc /scannow
if my computer opens up slow running that
before opening up Reaper brings in the both cards...
Have yet to solidify the truth I guess I will tomorrow.
The whole package sounds great on playback.
Thanks for the answering.
