How to play midi note even if playhead starts after noteon ?

I'm in the process of doing a song, and it seems to me that long held notes have to be played from their begining or wont be played at all.


Is there an option that could make reaper play all the notes, even if play is started after begining of them ? That would help me a lot!

In MIDI editor main menu, go to Options and select Chase MIDI note-ons in project playback.
