Default Composition

Hi there!

I just got the trial version of this program and have been looking around it for a while. I just had one question: Can I use this program to compose music so that I don't have to spend around US$1,300 on the instruments that I don't already own?

Thanks!

i'm not sure i understand how composing music relates to spending money on instruments, but if you are asking if Reaper comes with any virtual instruments built-in, then the answer is not really, but there's loads of free stuff on the internet or you can buy virtual instruments to suit your budget as the need arises.

Composition can be done for the cost of a pencil and paper...

Reaper won't give you ideas. But it'll help you capture performance of those ideas.

dmzy: Maybe we should encourage him more by saying that there`s loads of GOOD free instruments out there, as well as a bunch of very inexpensive ones.

Just MT Power Drums 2 on its own is a HUGE help.
