ReaEQ : Sort all bands by frequency (context menu)
Hi,
In the ReaEQ VST plugin, could you add an item to the context menu :
"Sort all bands by frequency". Maybe after the "Enable band" item ?
It could be very beneficial when we delete/add bands, in order to manage them in their "logical" frequency order.

This could break things like Reascripts or parameter-linking, maybe other stuff as well, so it's probably not a good idea to have natively.
However, it should be possible to write a script that does it, so just ask in the Developer-subforum in the Script Requests thread for it.

This is an excellent idea +1
Even better imo would be making the bands draggable.
I didn't realize ReaScript can make edits to ReaPlugs like that! What API function?

I agree this function should be in reaeq. In the context menu would be great.
In case you didn't know you can use this script to do the same.
Script: mpl_Sort focused ReaEQ bands by frequency.lua

I think in that case, it would be better, if we could edit the menu instead, so you could add the script there...

oh yes, totally. But I do not think that you can edit VST plugins menus like you can do it on REAPER menus...
