Default VST instrument LM-4 doesn't work in Reaper

Hi,

Just played around a little bit with Reaper and think of replacing my old Cubase SX 2 with it. I really like the intuitive and easy way I can work with Reaper.

Unfortunately my LM-4 doesn't work in Reaper, whereas it works fine in Cubase. The button label "Inputs: 0" in LM-4 doesn't look pretty good.

Besides, also my Hypersonic doesn't act like it should in Reaper.

Anyone has similar experiences? Or perhaps solution ideas?

Thanks a lot for any comments,
Michael

AFAIK, LM-4 only works in Cubase.

Too bad. There are some really nice additional drum sound libraries for the LM-4.

I've been using fxpansion's DR-008 for years now and it imports LM-4 and battery kits. More info here:

Works pretty good in reaper and is CPU friendly. The only glitch I've found is not being able to play the pads via mouse on screen - but external controllers work fine.

EDIT - The "glitch" has been fixed by enabling "always run track fx" under preferences/audio ...
