You're a free spirit, maybe an anarchist. The song is catchy, the production entertaining. Well done.

Thanks Jorgen, Sammy suggested adding a piano track back at version one, I'm glad I did it.

The song and general mix sounds really good Morgon, but no low end at all. Give us some bass!

Thanks Sammy, I added bass end to the bass gtr only [for now at least] to find out if that's enough on it's own to remedy it, sounds way better imo.
Made a lot of fixes to drums, bass and keys as well, added some stuff, anyone who bothered to listen the first version posted should prolly hear this one, it's gone up another level imo.
Here's the link which I'll post in the OP also-

Going by memory, I can feel more bass where the first version sounded thin--not trebly thin, but lack of lows thin. This is thicker, a bit more body. Sounds like you pulled a few extra tricks too.

If it was all perfectly in place, it wouldn't have nearly the same character. You've got real style, in other words. Great work!

@future fields
Thanks very much, all these feedbacks go a long way to spur me on, I'm glad you like it, I've always really enjoyed those Chuck Berry style R n B grooves, great for danceable pop/rock/party music, cheers.

I missed seeing this post earlier. I pulled up the bass end of bass gtr eq, that's all that I did soundwise for now, maybe the other insts could use a bit more low mids..
And yep, I fixed several issues with drums and bass, timing mainly, I tend to get those issues sometimes after removing or adding unquantised space in the project and things move off the grid a bit.
Also I modified the piano trk here and there.

Thanks Garrick, yeh the piano is kinda rollicking along, not getting too much in the way, I like the way it turned out as I had no idea at first how to go about it.

I can't figure out whether you're crazy or not, but I think this is great. Phenominal musicianship. That guitar is fantastic!
Was that a tape edit at 2:57? It sounds like you have a filter on the master bus. This could be intentional - I don't know.
I really like this song. Your musicianship makes me think that every traditionally defined sub-optimal aspect of this mix (drums machine, eq/filter, edits) are intentional - and that's probably about as good as it gets. Great job!

Hey, thanks a lot. As a musician you would know that we don't have to be crazy, but it helps

The whammy dive effect? I do those by either a rapid turn of the tuner on the gtr, or use a tuning fx. This one sounds like I played the 3rd stg G and then drew a steep descending line in Reatune.

I had trouble with clarity and it was that which led to the mix arrived at. However this mix rates, it's somewhat better than the ones I did before. Cheers man, and thanks again for the kind words.

Nice full on sound - so much going on but it locks together well.
Reminds me of that crazy fictional time that the Only Ones invited Chuck Berry on stage to do an early Elvis Costello song.
