Default Ozzifier GUI

Here's my GUI version of sstillwell's Ozzifier. Enjoy.

get it at :

https://stash.reaper.fm/709/ozzifierGUI.zip

Remember to put the 2 files together in one of the Reaper Effects folders (say, for instance, the 'sstillwell' folder )

PS : I forgot to mention that you can right-click on the controls to reset values to default

Very nice. I suspect you are going to see lots of copy-cats (me for example). I figured out the basics of the GFX code by looking back and forth between the JS documentation and your previous effort on the distortion effect. Thanks for the gift.

T

EDIT: Good choice for a plugin to work with. It is one of my favorite JS effects.

That's great! To me, it's what Jesusonic effects are all about, the flexibility to modify and build on existing stuff (which is really what I did anyway).

You are welcome and I look forward to seeing a lot more eye-candy!

What, THIS old thing?! Why, it's just something I put on when I don't care WHAT I sound like! (cue Gone With The Wind theme)

Thanks Teej!

I'm not currently working on any other GUI's. I tried doing one for the ping-pong delay but I wasn't happy with it.

It doesn't seem like anyone else is doing them. They really are just window dressing.

I think there is some room for improving the usability with graphics, but with the limitations on what can be done in the graphics code (and my own personal limitations in ability), there isn't much.

But thanks anyway!

Does more recent versions of Reaper not display this right, or maybe I didn't import something? My first try attached:

There is no ossifierGUI to select, nor OzzifierGUI.

Locate the 2 files from the zip download in the first post.
Go to Options=>Show REAPER resource path. Open Effects=>SStillwell and paste both the files in there.

Steve thanks greatly! It works - I wasn't sure what to expect, and I don't want to bite the horse that feeds me, but that GUI had me expecting to have a micro pitch on Left & R and seperate delays too.

As-is it sounds pretty cool!

By the way, after that method it also works if you rename ozzifierGUI.txt and remove the .txt

Big thanks to argee and bradleyfilms (and Reaper of course!) and Ozzy too, wherever you are m8 :-)

Cheers.
It's becoming quite a common practice to rename them .reajs too.

Sorry about exhuming this thread, but I could never find ozzifier anywhere. How do I get it?

Tried those:

No luck

Well, given that Black Sabbath did their very last concert performance last Saturday perhaps it's been withdrawn

Or, click the link to the Stash, in the first post.
