I have had this annoying bugbear for a while with the midi editor...
when I'm drawing notes in, it keeps the previous notes selected:
today, i finally decided to do something about it, only to discover that I can't seem to find what setting is responsible for this behavior.
it's NOT default behavior so something's been changed at some point.
it's specifically when using double-click to insert a note. If I click-drag to insert a note, it does what I would expect from double-click -- draw the note and selects only that note.
default action for double click in mouse modifiers > piano roll is 'insert note', as I would expect.
Any ideas?
