[Help] AUTOSAVE - "Error creating project file. Project not saved"

Hi there,

I just dont´get the autosave option working with Reaper and really need some help here. I´ve set "autosave" to every 15 minutes (when stopped) and whatever I do regarding e.g. the folder I want reaper to save those files, I always get the "Error creating project file. Project not saved" message.

This is my setup:

- Reaper Version 6.03
- MacOS Catalina 10.15.5

I´ve attached 2 screenshots showing my settings in detail.

TL-dr: Reaper can´t autosave my projects despite my folder being a simple desktop folder (NOT e.g. within the secured mac system)

Have you checked the additional directory you have specified for the backups exists, is correct and accessible normally?

I use this all the time.
FYI, Reaper will not create a new folder for you the first time if it doesn't exist. Reaper expects the folder to be there already or gives you that error.

Check your spelling or just browse there via the preferences page to select it.
