Default Rewire - Protools and reaper?

Could someone be so kind to explain to me how to rewire protools 8 and reaper? I am on a mac. Reaper does not appear on my list in protools as a rewire option. The reaper manual also does not seem to cover how to do this.

Thanks,Mike.

Ok, as far as I can see rewire is not yet implemented on osx. What I want to do is send audio from protools 8 to reaper. I will then spatialize this audio in reaper. Is this a possibility?

Reaper doesn't come up as a Rewire option in the mixer window under inserts on ProtoolsLE v8.03 either. I'm on a Macbook Pro core 2 duo OSX 10.5.8.

Perhaps this is better reported on the Issue Tracker here:

http://forum.cockos.com/project.php?issueid=2152

Although it's not exactly the same issue.

Perhaps the moderator can move this thread onto either the OSX forum or the Pre-Release as is appropriate.

Note: I'm running Reaper v3.36pre4

Look for OSX ReWire in the next release (which should be in about a week).

Excellent! Will this be a prerelease?

3.36 is currently in prerelease, but the OSX ReWire improvements are not in the latest pre5 build. They will be in the next prerelease build, and the official release will be in a week or so, depending on how things go in prerelease.
