FX problems

Hello,

I bought shreddage 2 and I have a problem in Reaper 5.90 on mac OS X High Sierra, Shreddage sounds fine but when I try to apply some effects amps & cabs the effects won't apply or randomly. I just always have clean sound, with amplitude boosted but no effects. Even with an amplitube amp. I tried with another instrument, my amps work fine.

I’m just trying to add some notes in the MIDI editor or with the virtual keyboard. When I add some notes, the first note sounds with effects and with amplitude boost but next notes are only with amplitude boost but without any effects, and I can’t get any effects no more. I tried with the built in amps / cabs in shreddage and with external vsts like amplitude and revalver, no luck for both.

Tried to reinstall Reaper, no luck.
I upgraded kontakt 5 player, no luck.
Tried in the ableton 10 trial, it works.

Does anyone encountered the same problem with Shreddage or with any other similar instrument?

Are you using AU's or VST's? I've had a few issues with AU plugins not sounding correctly before (Particularly when they run via bridge) so even on Mac i always use VST's with REAPER now.

And obviously, you have the FX plugins ordered on that track with Shreddage at the top, right?

Yes, I'm using VST only, the Kontakt 5 one (because Shreddage is a Kontakt instrument).

Yes Shreddage (kontakt) is on top of the fx list, before the amp.
