I updated link to source code, but I don`t think I will rebuild this script to working version, too complex to use, bad design and buggy code. Maybe it is better to split stepsequencer functions, RS5k and pattern managing.

mpl, i make use of this awesome script alot and to be honest, i really don't experience any issues with it, in my kind of workflow.
And i just do like the integration of patterns, blocks, RS5k to be in 1 script, not on separate scripts.

You did an awesome job on this script, for me problably one of the most innovative reaperscripts made in 2017.

PatternRack forever left as is.
Most functions ported into RS5k manager, please discuss it here: https://forum.cockos.com/showthread.php?t=207971

Default PatternRack

Hello! I correctly understood that PatternRack is no longer there, and RS5k manager to replace it?

Default Question about song steps

I am thinking of getting Reaper even though I already have Cubase and the reason is the step editor from the video link I am providing looks super easy to use. I use an old Ensoniq EPS sequencer and send the midi outs to Cubase but I am worried it is going to die some day. The way the song edit mode on the EPS works is you create your different sequences and then put them in order in the song step edit mode, having some instruments come in and out by muting them for a particular sequence at that point in the song. So say you start with a bass line (sequence one - verse) but mute the drums for the first step. Then on the second step you unmute the drums so they come in then. You arrange all these sequences in steps like verse/chorus/verse/chorus/bridge/verse/chorus etc.

I was wondering if Reaper's step editor works the same way as far as arranging your sequences in step order. Secondly, can you send Reaper's midi outs to Cubase? Does it even have midi outs?
