Default Is there any use/need for 32-bit VST3 format?

Is there any such thing as a 32-bit app that runs VST3 plugins? Seems VST3 came out after the move to 64-bit systems.

Any sense in compiling 32-bit VST3?

Reaper's 32 bit version supports VST3. There may be a few other hosts that also support that. But I would guess 32 bit and VST3 is not a widely used/needed combination.
