Default I moved Reaper Projects directory from C: to D:

My Reaper Media Browser is still looking at C:

How can I change this to D:?

I have looked in Options/Preferences/General/Paths and ../Project but I don't seem to see what I am looking for.

Thanks for any help.

Tony

It just opens showing the last place you were at.

Browse to the new location....or is that not working or something?

Thanks for your reply Stella.

What you say is true but if I try to expand the Project Directory Item with the + sign it goes straight to the _old_ Project Directory on C: - which I would like to point the new one on D:

I just haven't found out yet where I can set this.

Click on the up arrow until you see the other drives.

Once you're in the new projects folder you can add current folder to shortcut list.

You can also create symbolic links, or its equivalents in your OS, if there is one.

Default I moved Reaper Projects directory from C: to D: - SOLVED

Thanks to everyone that helped me with this.

1. I think this is solved. The problem was with the way Windows handled the special folder Documents. I thought I had transferred it correctly to my D: - but I hadn't. I found the Windows dialogue for moving the Location of Documents confusing.

2. As far as I can see, Reaper does not have a path for Reaper Media that can be edited/changed, it just uses the Windows Documents path.

3. Now that Reaper Media has been moved to where Windows Documents expects, all seems to be well and I have a proper <Reaper Directory> in Media Explorer.

Thanks again.
