Fixed: Cannot install LV2
its the CollaB3
I've correctly cd to where the installer is, typed in CollaB3-Installer-1.0.0.sh (which is the exact filename) and CLI keeps saying Command not found? (sorry .sh command not found) It is marked executable and I'm in the correct directory. EDIT: I was typing this thing in and getting nowhere so I just did a copy and paste and it worked. I triple checked when I was typing that it was exactly as listed in the directory.....argghhhh!! frustrating. Done now Last edited by pax-eterna; 10-07-2021 at 08:09 PM. |

Just a quick FYI for you and anyone else who experiences this:
when you are in the directory where the command is, you have to tell Linux that the command is in the current directory by typing (in your case) ./CollaB3-Installer-1.0.0.sh The period "." means the current directory and the "/" is the directory separator/marker. As an example, if CollaB3-Installer-1.0.0.sh is in the folder Downloads/LV2, if you were in the Downloads folder, you would type: LV2/CollaB3-Installer-1.0.0.sh If you are in the Downloads/LV2 folder, instead of typing LV2/CollaB3-Installer-1.0.0.sh, you replace "LV2" with the period, which tells Linux the command is in the current directory: ./CollaB3-Installer-1.0.0.sh If you don't put ./ in front of the command, Linux looks for it in the places it looks for commands like cd or ls. Now I am finding Reaper is not "seeing" the .so file. Stand-alone version works though |
