Default LinVst: EastWest Play, fonts?

Has anyone been able to successfully use it? Issue appears to be a missing font, but I don't know how to determine which. I have all the standard fonts installed in the prefix, never seen another plugin with this issue.

Thanks!

U-he synths will look like that when the required Vera font
is moved out of the proper location. In your case,
try starting a Reaper session including Ew from a terminal,
and look in the terminal output for mentions of fonts for a clue.

Just in case you don't have the mscorefonts package installed,

https://www.ostechnix.com/install-mi...-ubuntu-16-04/

You could unarchive the East West installer to see content,
the cabextract app should be easy to install, or reinstall
the EW from a terminal in a new .wine folder,
and look for clues in that terminal output.
There may be an install log file to check in your .wine,
in case EW use a weird proprietary font path.
Is a windows install available to A/B compare?

Which wine, reaper and linux versions?
Cheers

Thank you for your help. I do have corefonts installed in the prefix, and I do have a windows install but haven't been able to determine anything helpful from comparing them.

I'm trying to find the font that works, but with no luck. If you have figured it, please let me know.
