Default "Only Native" mode

Is "Only Native" mode the ideal plugin compatibility mode on OSX?

I'm assuming this means only 64bit plugins can be used?

I'm confused by why reaper_host_x86_64 runs as a separate process in this mode though. I thought this was for bridging 32bit plugins to 64bit Reaper?

Maybe I've got this completely backwards.

The bridges can run both 32 and 64 bit plugins on both 32 and 64 bit Reaper. The mode where both the main Reaper app and the bit bridge run at the same bit architecture may be useful for dealing with buggy plugins.

You shouldn't use the bit bridging modes unless really needed, so "only native" is the recommended way to go.
