Default /Applications as resource path???

it seems that for some reasons the resource path on my machine is not `~/Library/Application\ Support/REAPER/`, but `/Applications` (it is opened by "Show REAPER resource path in explorer/finder" and contains reaper.ini and the like).

this causes reaper not to find the jsfx plugins installed by atk ... any idea? tia

1) In Finder , tap CMD key plus J key.
2) A window opens, make sure "Show Library Folder" is checked (it's on the bottom).
3) Move the folder named REAPER, which is currently in your Applications folder, to this folder:

HD > users > (your username) > Library > Application support.

Could be that you will be asked to fill in your mac password.

EDIT: You problaby need to re-direct to this folder in the option "Show REAPER resource path in explorer/finder"

hmm, starting reaper from "application support/reaper" feels like an ugly hack to me ... hmm. atk can now be found, but it cannot find its convolution kernels ...

I am not talking about moving the Reaper application icon itself to application support.
Reaper application should be kept in Applications.

I am talking about the folder named "REAPER" that contains all resources like scripts, presets , ini, andwhatnut, into you user Application Support folder.

If REAPER.app is executed and there is a file "reaper.ini" in its same path, it will use that path (assuming it is portable).

If you remove reaper.ini and other relevant files from /Applications, then run REAPER, it should use the ~/Library path instead.
