Default Vst3 instruments - no programchanges transmitted

When using the vst3-instrument Halion Sonic3 there are no program - change-messages transferred from Reaper to the plugin. It seems to be a general issue with vst3-instruments.

Hi,

I have the same issue: AUi of halion sonic works just fine with programchanges. VST3 gets all kinds of controller data, but no program change.
VST3 in Cubase works fine with programchange.
So I assume reaper team needs to investigate the vst3 implementation in reaper?

Hi,
thanks for the tip.
But link to MIDI program change will only connect the vst3 preset manager of reaper. Unfortunately it does not forward program change to the hosted vst3 plugin though :/

As I wrote in the original post, the AUi version works just fine here and I can happily switch presets with program change. Hence I guess bug is likely.
