NOW we're talking!! The best I've ever seen.
You have done a lot of experimenting with small buttons lately WT. The folder buttons in the release theme, and now these pan, polarity and cut buttons. I don't know what size monitor you have, but for me they're unusable. I have a very precise mouse but those things are a bitch to target and take loads of time and concentration.

Actually VU is on top.
I'd also put a VU right next to the fader, and make them THE SAME HEIGHT. Like in v3. That's proven the most effective workflow, really.

nice job, like this much better than the alpha 4 theme. as mentioned, a meter next to the fader is needed.

but but but... why do we need (again, like in every other theme out there) a meter next to the fader? No, please no. The greatest consoles of all times didn't have a meter there but UP there

But the best also had gorgeous VU meters. If we could get that happening in REAPER it would be a HUGE game changer for the DAW world!

To be honest, No matter what "The greatest consoles of all times" had, if im comfortable with something, I think it's perfect.
Personally I like having the meter next to the fader, just because its what im used to working with, but then again I don't think there's anything wrong with trying out something new.

when they make a 6 inch high by 6 foot long dedicated LED monitor for a meter bridge, then maybe lose the meter next to the fader

Please next time, warn us before you posted anything man. I was about to have a heart attack when I saw Imperial Mixer man!! Daaaaaaaaaamn it!! Don't do this again I beg you.
I'm just speech fuck***less!!!!!!!!
Now that's a THEME and it has to be THE MAIN, DEFAULT R4 THEME. Who's with me here. Let's VOTE ++++++ 1 Trillion for me.
Ayayayayi Caray, no lo puedo creer.
Simply THUMBS UP mate
Edit: And really too bad I can't try this baby under Alpha 8. Anyone able to use this Imperial? Cuz I downloaded it and it kinda take the whole screen and the tracks background are all in black etc... I guess we can't use it totally right now or maybe some setup need to be done inside Reaper Appearance?

ahahhahaha All the way caramba pues!!!
Sorry guys but can't hold myself... if this is the R4 default theme guys, i'm telling you REAPER just with it's GUI interface will make sooooooo freaking much noise that won't make sense and with all the features add-ons that are being added lately.... that will be ALL
P.S Sooooo anyone loaded this baby yet, is it fully working even it's a work in progress?

its a biggy but boy its a goody.. - only issue was took a while to find the the fx chain window button
hard to believe its lil ol reaper under there, like some dream, especially when the rest of reaper is black and unreachable..
just flick to the v2/v1 themes to get a sense the giant leap thats being made here..
its only eye candy, but then we all want to stare at something nice whilst we're busy.

Seriously WT, I wasn't warned that I needed to bring a towel for cleanup before entering the thread... You should really warn a guy first...Unbelievable work!
In an day?...you really could have lied and told us you had been working on this since September,... it would make us feel a little better about ourselves...
awesome...

That mixer looks amazing (and damn it's huge!). The only thing I'd say is the LEDs should be brighter when they're on to stand out. But for a single day's work, really impressive.
