Default Video Thumbnail Preview Possible in Reaper?

Hi, I just wonder, if there is a video thumbnail Preview Track in Reaper.
It would be finde to have this because of the much improved speed in finding specific scenes in a video.

Does Reaper support Video thumbnailing?

Best Regards!

Not at the moment.
I use scrubbing to get to a particular frame (with the video window open of course), then place a marker.
It's faster than you'd think, even faster if the client's been kind enough to send a dope sheet.

This is really the most important missing feature to work with video for me at the moment

I miss it too.
Though it's not necessary for functionality...

I recommend to create regions which stand in context with the video information. That's quick and helps a lot to jump between scenes and motives.

Of course it would be very nice to have a thumbnail preview. But I don't need it badly. This requires zoomed tracks to recognize whats in the thumbnails, and before I have focused a tiny image in between others I already have jumped to the region and scrubbed to the place where I wanted to work on.

But anyway. This is standard in other video software and works with still images already. So ... It also would help to isolate video from audio visually.
