HI gurus,
Hoping this can be done (so I can leave Nuendo out of my workflow
). Also, posting this here as opposed to the general forums because I think this is more of an advanced scripting type feature (that has probably already been done, but I can't find it!).
So... I have a ton of recordings and overdubs done in Nuendo. When I import them into Reaper and move them to BWF origin, I get nice overlapped .wav files... as should be. However, I would now like to alphabetically assign them to lanes/takes.
I read that Reaper uses Take names and not file names for take assignments. I tried various x-raym scrips for renaming... but I can never get multiple lanes to show (and thus see underlying takes).
I've poked around but can't find info specific to my needs. Anyone able to point me in the right direction or provide a the secret decoder ring for being able to do this?
Do I maybe have a lane display feature turned off?
Thanks in advance.
Cheers,
Andrew K
