In 5.50rc8 it was possible to move media items and AIs together without ruining the underlying envelope (using "Envelope points move with media items" disabled).
Now in 5.50rc9 it seems to be impossible.

Reaper is locking up on me whenever I try to move an item, with or without envelopes and/or AI's. Its using one full cpu core, no error message pops up, I have to close Reaper and then Windows shows message 'Reaper is not responding'.
I got it to move an item one time without locking up.
Move points with items was set to off.
In one track I marquee select the item and its 3 AIs (which are on separate lanes, volume, pan, mute), So now the item and 3 AIs are all selected, I then grab the item and drag it to the right, oddly the last AI (mute ) moved with item! I then tried to move the item back left and Reaper locked up.
Rc9 x64, Win7 x64.
EDIT Even simpler test, After adding a 2nd envelope Reaper just locks up when I try to move the item!

It seems undoing envelope point selection is completely borked.
If the option to create undo points is enabled (Preferences->General), selecting some points multiple times (so that we get multiple undo points created) then doing an undo completely removes any selection, instead of going to the selection from previous undo point.
Not sure if this is a regression, but what good is the option for storing envelope point selections into undo, when undoing those actions doesn't work then?

When changing baseline in AIs, connecting edge points to underlying points is not refreshed at all, it is only refreshed when LFO is enabled and any of its controls is tweaked:

Uh... I'm having some weird issues.
Using the default mouse modifiers:
If I create a single point with cmd then try to move it, it disappears.
Shift does not create a new point at all.
Cmd-drag does create new points just fine.

I have 3 requests, though it's fairly 'late in the game' for that.
#1 ignore, it is there
The default right-click menu for envelopes lacks a 'Load Automation Item'. It seems like that would be an obvious function.
edit: nevermind, it's right there!
#2
Drag and drop of saved automation items does not work.
Attempting to drop a saved automation item in to Reaper gives the above error.
#3
Left is what I saved. Right is what was loaded.
When loading an Automation Item, offsets are not saved. This is important when saving something like an LFO that is offset so theres a musically relevant starting phase.
Sorry for the rc9 requests, but I think these are fairly important regarding the save/load functionality.

Already there, Automation Items > Load > Load
They need need to delete that 2nd LOAD menu item, unless there is more to come?

It's there in "Automation items" submenu.

The other two still stand!
Particularly #2, I find that REALLY important. Would be a metric ton of AWESOME if we could see the preview of the envelope in Media Explorer, where waveform peaks would otherwise show!

When you save an automation item, it shows up below the Load... entry. You can have all of them here in that menu.

Hmmmm I don't see any of my saved AI's in the menu, am I supposed to save them to a specific folder?

Yes, in Reaper's resources folder there should be AutomationItems subfolder. In there.

You have trimmed the automation item on the left, but the saved version is complete. If you want to save the trimmed version, you need to glue it first.

No such sub folder in my portable install, so I created it in the root of the portable install, added a few AI files to it, bam now they show up!
THANKS!
NIT PICK:
'Load > Load...' still seems weird, could be more consistent like the Insert Track Templates > 'Open Template'
'Load > Open AI...' ?

Reason: DOUBLE 'LOAD' NIT PICK

Did a clean RC10 install, it didn't create the 'AutomationItems' folder for me, so I had to do create it manually, after that the AI open/save dialog opens to that folder as expected. But.... the 'AutomationItems' folder is not getting saved in export config.
EDIT: btw, this was with Reaper x64 on Win7-x64.

While you're at it, could you PLEASE add the "MIDINoteNames" folder to export configs also.
THANK YOU!
