Need help with choosing a laptop that suits my needs

Hi All,

Im trying to find a laptop that runs well with Reaper but also one that is suitable for me.

I want to record comfortably with about 30 tracks,with something like ez drummer and a couple other 3rd party plugins for guitars. Ill only ever record 1 track, maybe 2 at a time.

Would i get away with 8gb ram?
How much storage space would i need?
Do i need quad core processors or could i use dual core? Is there anything else i would need?

Ive never recorded with a laptop before only Boss 4tracks, 8tracks and the Br1600 which the hdd has just failed on me.
