Default MIDI editor: Rename "note names" to "note/CC names" in menu and Actions list [DONE!]

DONE in v5.93!

Since v5.32, REAPER can load custom CC lane names for the MIDI editor (yay!!).

Loading new CC names is done via the same Actions as loading new note names, and CC names can be combined with note names in a single text file.

However, the menu items and Action names have not been updated yet, and still only refer to "note names" - which is unhelpful for someone trying to figure out how to rename CC lanes. For example, the menu still reads File -> Note names -> Load/Save/Clear note names.

Could all these menu items and Action names be renamed to "note/CC names"?

BTW, there is a little glitch: As pointed out in another thread, if a CC lane is already visible, its name does not update immediately after loading the file. The user first has to click on the name dropdown list.

Agreed! Up until now, there seems to be not a single clue anywhere of this wonderful feature... (not even in the v5.40 manual, as it seems if I´m not mistaken).

Yes, please.

But also make the CC names editable as the note names from the MIDI windows. Otherwise "save note/CC names" makes no sense.

PS: BTW, is double-righht click the only way to rename note names? It's quite odd to do it that way.

You can also use the Action "Rename current note", or via the menu File -> Note names -> Rename current note.

Easy to fix with custom menus and langpacks, which a lot of us most probably use, right?

As demonstrated in the thread Change name of CCs and Program Changes...is it possible?, some users did indeed not realize that CC names could be changed, due to the misleading names that still only refer to "note names".
