Default "Contemporary" drum sounds??

I'm trying to get film/TV placements for my music and one issue that comes up is having "contemporary" drum sounds. I've used some loops I got from Sony and a Mick Fleetwood CD. Mick's great, but is that "current?"

I'm writing in the Adult Contemporary, pop, rock genres.

Is EZdrummer good?

Thx,

Rick

Demo Jamstix from rayzoon.com it is very flexable. I have used it since version 1 and love it. There is a bit of learning curve, as I am finding out with Reaper

What do they mean by contemporary? Like hip hop beats?

Has the recording and mixing of real drums actually changed much since the 70's?

I would ask them for specific examples.

One person's vague definition may not match yours or ours.

(I used to work with a creative director who would just wave his arms and scream "Just do what I'm thinking about!!" then storm out of the room.)
