Windows 10, rumors about round edges on open windows coming back?
I heard a rumor that MS is bringing back round window edges, instead of the razor blade sharp edges I personally loath. I wonder if this is tweakable in any way right now in any way or if you think it will change the way we theme tweak Reaper.
Just wanted to throw it out there

I don't know about that but I loathe windows 10 work flow and the general look and feel of it. Windows 7 was my favorite as far as gui and intuitive usability and ten was the opposite. I find W10 ridiculous and non intuitive.

I still don't understand how they released Windows 10 with so many built-in apps that are fuzzy and blurred on HiDPI screens and four years later still haven't fixed it.

I believe Stardock's "Windows Blinds" product will do this, if it's your cup of tea. I don't use it, although Start 10 is installed on every personal machine I own.

I'm a fan of the company, they do this kind of stuff to pay the bills and then make video games just because.

Thanks for your reply cassembler. I'm still using Object Dock, with years of success. I was using Window Blinds on my old Windows 7 os. Since moving to 10 in October, I gave it a try but it made any dark theme I chose funky and unmanageable. I eventually found a Deviant dark theme but I'm interested in seeing what you mentioned about their product "Start 10". With all this being said, it's not the end of the world if I can't get round window edges back but that's something I can live with.

I just built a powerful PC for audio work and spent several days tweaking it.
After another week I realized I just cannot deal with Windows 10 and the combination of reaper, UAD, plugins etc with poor HiDPI scaling problems everywhere, and the borders / sharp corners, ugly menus, blurry dialogs, etc drove me insane.
Returned the parts at bought a 27" iMac. I never intended to become an Apple fanboy but after 10 years in the ecosystem the alternative is just bleh

Maybe Apple has a patent on rounded corners. Not like that has happened...
